THE DALMORE RARE & FINE 40-YEAR-OLD Initially aged in American white oak ex-bourbon casks, the whisky is then matured in Port Colheita pipes The precious liquid is then married together with aged whisky which has previously matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks and Gonzalez Byass casks which have held 30 year old Matusalem oloroso sherry There are flavours of orange peel, chocolate truffles, Old English marmalade and crushed walnuts with finish of Black Forest fruits, poached pear laced with caramel and dark chocolate
