Old Forester Single Barrel Barrel Proof Personal Selection is a distinctive experience 153 years in the making. This specially selected barrel of Old Forester was crafted and sourced using the time-honoured methods established by George Garvin Brown way back in 1870. This barrel proof product was barrelled on May 16, 2018 in warehouse L on the 1st floor. The final proof at time of bottling is 128.1. The whiskey has a buttery mouthfeel, with oak, mocha, hazelnut and caramel followed by a long, burnt brown sugar sweetness to finish.

Kentucky Straight Bourbon “Double Oak was born of a happy accident, when a leaky barrel forced the distilling team to transfer its liquid to a new charred oak barrel. Exposure to that second barrel gave the whiskey amped-up flavors and lots more complexity. This is a bourbon that has gone into overdrive, and it handles the road just fine. Its syrupy sweet texture is checked by the oak influence, and the palate opens to flavors aplenty—dried peaches, warm apple pie, Christmas spice, gingerbread, raisin cake, chocolate, and pumpkin purée.”
