Highland Park 16-Year-Old Twisted Tattoo The name and design were inspired by the Norse legend of the Midgard serpent, which grew so large it could twist right around the earth to bite its own tail; and Highland Park developed the packaging in partnership with Danish tattoo artist, Colin Dale. Using first-fill Rioja casks in combination with refill casks, you’ll find generous layers of sweet vanilla, sun-ripened peaches, summer berries and full-bodied red wine, combined on gust of heather-rich peat smoke.

66. Isle of Harris The Hearach This is the much-anticipated inaugural release of The Hearach— the first, historic single malt whisky from the Isle of Harris, a small island sat off the far-northwest coast of Scotland. Aged until maturity in individual casks from four different sources, two bourbons and two sherries, then married in sherry butts for a minimum of twelve weeks to bring further harmony. Complex and layered, distillery blender Shona MacLeod speaks of gentle peat smoke, toasted maltiness, homemade apple sauce, mixed spices and an old-fashioned sweetness of candied ginger, vanilla and honeycomb. The finish offers a long, clotted- cream note, mixed with a lasting sense of new leather.
