63. Highland Park 30-Year-Old 2023 Release Limited batch release from an award-winning distillery with a long history dating back to 1798. Created from just six casks—three first-fill sherry-seasoned European oak hogsheads, one first-fill sherry-seasoned American oak hogshead, one virgin (unseasoned with sherry) American oak hogshead and one refill hogshead—all hand selected by Gordon Motion, Highland Park’s Master Whisky Maker. For Highland Park’s older whiskies, their Master Whisky Maker has fewer casks to work with, demanding all his skill and expertise to create our signature flavour and character through the careful marriage of different cask types. Natural colour driven entirely by the casks, without additives.
