The Cognac Cask Matured is a vatting of 32 cognac casks sourced from Tonellerie Bossuet in France. The 2023 limited edition sees Kilchoman’s heavily peated spirit spend its full maturation in cognac casks for a minimum of six years. During its maturation, the spirit has captured the herbaceous, sweet spice from the cognac casks which balances with our citrus-fruit led spirit, allowing the maritime Kilchoman peat smoke to subtly shine through.

Cask Strength 2023 Edition Laphroaig’s 2023 25-Year-Old Cask Strength is a powerful expression with signature notes of Islay peat, subtle oak, and vanilla. Full-flavoured from 25 years maturing in ex-bourbon casks, this non-chill filtered single malt is certainly worth the wait. Nose: Restrained smoky flavours and aromas of sweet vanilla, wood spice and smoked bacon, plus a hint of dried fruit. Palate: Layered and creamy, with flavours of pepper, iodine and peat smoke along with hints of green apple. Finish: Lingering with waves of smoke and a peppery conclusion.
