Matured in a combination of ruby port casks from the Douro valley in Portugal, and our signature sherry casks, this expression presents sweet notes of floral nectar to dance in harmony with succulent ripe summer berries. Ode to the Valley is our most alluring fruit-filled expression within The Master’s Anthology: a collection of fine single malts from The Glendronach, where our Master Blender invites you to explore the breadth and depth of sherry cask maturation. With a colour of burnished copper, the nose hints at late summer berries and chocolate dulce de leche imbued with sweet demerara and apricot glaze. It tastes of blackberry and roasted apple crumble with freshly baked gingerbread and sweet damson plum.

Glengoyne White Oak

A first for Glengoyne, this brand new expression is matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon and virgin oak casks sourced from North America. These casks are charred for less than a minute allowing the Glengoyne spirit to shine, unladen. White Oak sings of vibrant wood and bright citrus, unripe banana, and a hint of violets. The palate is soft and playful with touches of crème brûlée, fruit gums, and pineapple. The finish is long and smooth, giving flavours of toffee apple.
