THE COLLECTIBLES

THE COLLECTIBLES

H1. Fettercairn 200 th Anniversary Collection In celebration of two centuries of innovation, Fettercairn is delighted to present the 200 th Collection, a compendium of six of their rarest whiskies housed in a beautiful bespoke cabinet. Just ten sets have been created, housed in unique cabinets from master craftsman John Galvin, who took inspiration from the way light shines through tree canopies at Fettercairn, and building the cabinet from Scottish oak, copper, and brass. The cabinet houses six of their rarest expressions, including 1964 60-Year-Old, 1973 49-Year-Old, 1988 35-Year-Old, 1995 28-Year-Old, 1998 25-Year-Old, and 2021 3-Year-Old. Each bottle an exploration of flavour-led whisky making and a marker of a key date in the distillery’s history. Of the 10 sets available globally, BCLIQUOR has the only set available in North America.

H2. Highland Park 54-Year-Old Highland Park’s oldest and rarest release to date, 54-Year-Old is intensely rich, sweet, and complex. Intriguing aromas of lychee, aromatic camphor, vintage oak, and delicate peat herald the exquisitely balanced flavours that follow. Warm spices—crushed cumin and coriander seeds—emerge and subside to reveal fragrant notes of summer rose and jasmine, with just a hint of honeyed kiwi fruit and pistachio biscotti. Sweet and spicy at the end, woody notes give way to a lingering whisper of sweet fenugreek and heathery peat smoke. Only 225 bottles have been released—representing every year of production in Highland Park’s 225-year history—each one steeped in the magic of the Orkney Islands.

D1. Old Fitzgerald 10-Year-Old

D2. Rock Hill Farms Single Barrel

Bottled-In-Bond Inspired by an original 1950’s Old Fitzgerald diamond decanter, the packaging and series honour both the history of the Old Fitzgerald brand and the historic Bottled-in-Bond designation. The Old Fitzgerald line is well- known for its distilling pedigree, as the brand was first registered in 1884 and was eventually sold to “Pappy” Van Winkle during Prohibition. Expect butterscotch and toasted oak aromas with dried roses and floral notes. The palate is soft with honey sweetness, aromatic herbs, and green tea. More herbal notes appear on the finish, then cardamom and nutmeg. Finally, white pepper and a hint of barrel char.

Named for a stretch of rich farmland along the Kentucky River, Rock Hill Farms is a fine single barrel bourbon. The limestone waters of the Kentucky River that wind through Bluegrass country and alongside Buffalo Trace Distillery nourish the land and provide the distinct flavour to Rock Hill Farms. Washingtonian Magazine named Rock Hill Farms “The World’s Greatest Bourbon.” This smooth bourbon is defined by the lush and rolling Kentucky landscape.

3. Benriach

16-Year-Old Double Cask Matured

40-Year-Old The Forty Drawing upon decades of experience, Benriach’s Master Blender Rachel Barrie has skilfully combined some of their rarest malt to create Benriach The Forty. Fine bourbon casks made from American oak have gradually developed exquisite notes of honeyed pomelo and ripe stone fruits. This intricate character is interwoven with dark notes of chocolate, rich plum, and smooth walnut from port casks sourced from the Douro Valley in Portugal. The result is the ultimate expression of Benriach’s signature, luscious, fruit-laden style.

With the depth and complexity that comes from being matured for 16 years in a combination of American oak casks and the finest sherry butts, this expression’s warm and fruity notes are enriched by an engagingly spicy sweetness.

At 60.2% ABV, it has held its strength unusually well. The Benromach Burgundy bottles are a testament to Gordon & MacPhail’s peerless maturation programs, not just for the boldness of flavour carried perfectly at high strength, but the balance between the original distillate and red wine maturation, which has not overwhelmed the final product.

35. Glenmorangie

37. Ardbeg 19-Year-Old Traigh Bhan Batch 6

A Tale Of Ice Cream For Glenmorangie’s Director of Whisky Creation Dr Bill, ice cream is the one indulgence he cannot resist. Captivated by the elegant pleasures of his favourite ice cream parlour, he imagined a whisky piled high with decadence. Marrying high vanillin and bourbon casks, his creation is a carousel of flavour. Creamy peach melba and lemon sorbet melt into honeycomb and brioche. Coconut flakes and fudge chunks are drizzled with toffee-apple sauce. A deliciously extravagant treat!

From the Ardbeg Distillery to Port Ellen and beyond, follow the rocky coast and you will discover the heavenly vista of Traigh Bhan (pronounced tri-van), the beautiful beach known locally as the Singing Sands. A slightly oily mouthcoating leads into an intense, minty sweetness. Waves of signature Ardbeg notes in creosote, coal tar soap, and bonfire embers follow. Whiffs of smoked pineapple and toasted bread swirl around deep, rich flavours of dark chocolate, peppermint cream, and camphor. A long and unhurried finish carries with it notes of coffee grounds and liquorice.

Inaugural Release Matured in a combination of ex-bourbon and ex-oloroso sherry casks, Ardnahoe Inaugural Release was bottled the strength of 50% ABV, without artificial colouring or chill-filtration. Shortbread, baked apple, and Islay peat smoke aromas on the nose lead to custard, ginger, lemon zest, and baked apple flavours on the palate. It finishes long and smoky.

Aromas of moist Corinth raisins and sweet dates are complemented by sweet spices, cinnamon, cocoa beans, a hint of dark chocolate, and subtle smoke. 12-Year-Old Sherry Oak Cask Matured for at least 12 years in European oak oloroso sherry casks and American oak ex-bourbon barrels, and finished in European oak oloroso sherry seasoned casks. Aromas of vanilla caramel, red berries, marzipan, icing sugar, and hints of dried fruit lead to flavours of ripe pears, lemon juice, cinnamon, toasted almonds, and peaches in syrup with increasing levels of smoke. The finish is pleasingly long and spicy.

41. Bowmore 29-Year-Old Timeless This 29-year-old single malt has been created from a combination of sherry seasoned European oak casks and ex-bourbon American oak barrels filled in 1991 and 1992, offering complexity and promising a mouth-warming, yet dry and lengthy finish. Leading with dark fruits akin to sherry-soaked raisins, sweet aromas come to the fore as cocoa and bitter orange merge with cherry blossom and liquorice. The immersion on the palate is rich and layered, again reflecting a depth of sweetness contrasted with peat and sea salt flavours.

44. Bruichladdich Octomore 15.1

“Minty and floral on the nose, with dried strawberries, candle wax, lemon, lime sorbet, and sweet vanilla. On the palate, it’s pleasantly soapy, with dark fruits, crème brûlée, citrus, and bitter chocolate. The finish is mid-length but delicious. Well- integrated oak intertwines flavors of marshmallow and citrus. Overall there is great complexity and plenty for the palate to explore. It makes you want to keep drinking it, for sure.”

The backbone of each Octomore series, the 15.1 is the necessary comparison from which the other expressions oscillate. Laying bare the profound influence of high intensity peat smoke, the spirit has matured in a combination of first-fill bourbon barrels and re-charred ex-bourbon casks, mindfully extracting as much character from the wood as possible. The result is a raw and uncompromising single malt whisky which demonstrates Octomore’s refined strength of character, balancing smooth vanilla custard and sweet charred oak with heady peat smoke.

45. Bruichladdich Octomore 15.2

“A whiff of wood smoke or char on the nose, creating an overlay to more classic notes of stone fruit, mango, red berries, apples, and vanilla. Still lots of fruited liveliness beneath the initial smoke, which develops more toward cigar box and cigar ash. The palate offers honeyed sweetness, crème brûlée, coconut cream, tropical fruits, red berries, and pepper spice. Smooth and mellow on the finish, but the flavors don’t linger long.”

Octomore 15.2 offers an intriguing and inviting comparison to its 15.1 counterpart. Distilled from the same batch of Scottish grown barley and also malted to 108.2 PPM, the 15.2 uses a robust combination of second-fill wine and second-fill bourbon casks, with the spirit finished in first-fill cognac casks. This unique trifecta adds layers of intrigue, resulting in a complex yet exceedingly elegant single malt Scotch whisky. Hints of nutmeg, toasted oak, and caramel add smoothness to the palate, with the delicate floral character of Octomore coming to the fore.

Cnoc Na Moine The Legacy Series Chapter No. 3

The Cask Strength Congregation Batch Chapter II

Cnoc Na Moine, translating to “hill of peat” from Gaelic, embodies the essence of its namesake with a composition that mirrors the dramatic and untamed beauty of Skye. Matured in a distinctive combination of bourbon American oak, oloroso, and Pedro Ximénez casks, this release marries the robust peatiness Torabhaig is renowned for with rich sherry notes, culminating in a darker, more profound hue.

The Friar John Cor The Cask Strength Congregation Batch Chapter II was matured in a selection of bourbon, STR, and peated rum casks. The introduction of the peated casks which originally held rum, gives a very exciting point of difference to this unpeated spirit. The end result is just fantastic with a complex whisky with syrupy fruity sweetness balanced with deep earthy peated notes that complement perfectly in this unique Lindores single malt Scotch whisky.

Blended Scotch The Deacon is a masterful blend of both smoky Speyside and peaty Islay malt whiskies, making for a complex, rich, and smoky dram.
